GETTING STARTED

Ready to practise in three steps

  1. Download

    Click the download button. Your browser usually saves BrailleStudio-Setup.exe in your Downloads folder.

  2. Install

    Open the file and click Next. The latest version is downloaded and verified. Then follow the steps in the setup window.

  3. Start BrailleStudio

    Open BrailleStudio from the Windows Start menu. Connect your braille display and open a lesson. The braille monitor shows what appears on the display.

Already installed?

In BrailleStudio, choose Help → Check for updates to keep the app up to date without returning to this page.

Trouble installing?

Check your internet connection and retry. On a managed school or work computer, ask your administrator for help. If Windows shows a security warning, verify the source and seek assistance if unsure.
